Sacramento News & Review’s annual College Essay Contest is back and wants to help the Class of 2019. Seniors can email a 650-word essay on the topic of their choice to collegeessay@newsreview.com. You can even submit your college essay. Entries can be sent in a Word document, PDF, or copied/pasted into the body of the email. Just make sure the subject box says “College Essay Contest.”
First prize is $2,000, second is $1,000, and third is $500. Deadline for submission is May 7 at 5:00 p.m.
